Ready to keep a plant running at full speed?
At Process Equipment and Controls (PEC), we’re looking for a TIG-capable Millwright to support a manufacturing facility in Harwell, GA. This is an on-site, facility-based position with minimal travel where you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with plant operations and PEC’s maintenance team.
What you’ll do
- Own TIG welding tasks (MIG and stick are a plus).
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
- Service pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, motors, and more.
- Perform precision alignment, leveling, and installations for rotating assets.
- Fabricate/modify components, brackets, and fixtures.
- Follow structured, step-by-step troubleshooting to get to the root cause fast.
- Read and apply blueprints, mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Collaborate with operators and PEC leadership to keep work safe and efficient.
- Consistently use PPE and uphold high safety standards.
- Work independently or as part of a strong maintenance crew.
What you’ll bring
- 2–3 years of Millwright or Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated TIG welding proficiency on stainless and carbon steel.
- Hands-on mechanical know-how in assembly and repair practices.
- Comfortable with blueprints and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work overtime as production needs arise.
