Why this role matters

As the Fulfillment & Dispatch Operations Lead, you’ll coordinate daily shipping activities, align people and processes, and keep orders flowing accurately and on time. You’ll be the bridge between plan and execution—coaching the team and supporting departmental improvement projects.

What you’ll do

• Direct daily work in the Shipping area; train new hires and provide ongoing coaching.
• Ensure policy adherence and maintain clean, safe work standards.
• Own storekeeping routines and help keep supply levels on target.
• Support recordkeeping—assist with daily production reports and documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prep shipments; run spot checks for quality assurance.
• Receive, store, pick-up, and distribute supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate across teams; build cooperative working relationships.
• Hit schedules and timelines; take on related duties as needed.
• Champion projects that raise throughput, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of warehouse/storekeeping operations and material-handling equipment.
• Understanding of inventory methods and safe-work practices.
• Strong organization and documentation discipline; attention to detail.
• Clear, courteous communication—written and verbal.
• Customer-first leadership; able to decide and act autonomously while collaborating well.
• Time management and multitasking strengths; practical problem-solving.
• Quick, accurate math across basic operations.

Background

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in warehousing, receiving, or shipping.

Working conditions

Warehouse environment with frequent exposure to fumes/airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Noise can be loud. Work may occur in hot and cold conditions.

Physical demands

Regular talking/hearing; frequent standing, walking, grasping and fine manipulation, handling/feeling, and reaching. Periodic sitting; climbing/balancing; bending/squatting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently carry, push, or pull medium weights and lift/move up to 75+ pounds. Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment.

Schedule & travel

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week; occasional evenings/weekends as needed. No travel.
