At Dexter’s Seagoville, TX facility, we need an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to elevate performance in a business known for axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. Your mission

  • Design and maintain comprehensive safety and environmental programs that comply with OSHA and EPA rules.
  • Lead a data-driven injury/illness reduction program—conduct assessments, investigate incidents, and set measurable goals.
  • Apply industrial process, mechanical, chemical, and behavioral insights to correct unsafe conditions and advance loss control; rigorously evaluate progress.
  • Implement and continually improve Environmental and Safety Management systems conforming to ISO 14001/ISO 18001; brief executive leadership on results and recommendations.
  • Be the point of contact for regulators, corporate partners, and insurers to ensure seamless compliance.
  • Own OSHA/environmental reporting and records.
  • Plan and manage the HSE budget (consulting/testing, waste removal, PPE, and recognition initiatives).
  • Lead investigations into non-compliance and root-cause events; provide urgent support to operations.
  • Facilitate structured, team-based problem solving.
  • Execute site audits, identify gaps, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
  • Engineer environmental improvements that reduce waste streams and optimize processes.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims.
  • Deliver safety, HSE, and awareness training site-wide.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Bring these qualifications

  • BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in industry required.
