Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within a manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components to determine root causes of failures.
Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete repairs and adjustments.
Replace, rebuild, or align parts and components to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams regarding equipment conditions or concerns.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and service documentation.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures while keeping the work area clean and organized.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and automated machinery.
Experience with robotics or PLC-controlled equipment is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex electro-mechanical issues.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes; comfortable working at heights.
Basic computer proficiency for logging work orders and navigating maintenance systems.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
