You’ll guide a talented group of inside sellers (and potentially outside reps), deepen relationships across manufacturing, fabrication, and construction, and grow revenue and margin—while living our values of Honesty and Integrity, Respect, and Service Excellence.

Is this you?

  • Experienced people leader (5+ years) from a steel service center, metals distribution, fabrication, or industrial supply environment.
  • Confident managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and closing complex deals.
  • Fluent in steel products, processing, and the metals supply chain.
  • Organized communicator who coaches, motivates, and holds teams accountable.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and results-obsessed.
  • Proficiency: Recruiting.

What you will do

  • Set direction and manage the inside sales team to hit revenue, margin, and growth targets; role may include leadership of Outside Sales Reps.
  • Grow the St. Joseph territory with a balanced approach to new business development and customer retention.
  • Visit customers and prospects, host relationship-building meetings, and resolve complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Partner daily with Operations and Purchasing to ensure accurate pricing, seamless service, and on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor moves to uncover expansion opportunities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and upskill the team—cultivating accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Travel as needed to meet objectives.
