Palletizing and Material Handling Specialist (Forklift)

What you will tackle

  • Operate advanced packing machinery to keep schedules on target.
  • Load and unload trailers as part of a coordinated team.
  • Pick, pack, check, stage, and move products to and from designated areas.
  • Relocate palletized or crated materials throughout storage locations.
  • Stack loads correctly in assigned bays following inventory-control guidance.
  • Complete required forms and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Inspect equipment daily; perform routine maintenance and call out repair needs.
  • Monitor quality and performance; report hazards or production issues immediately.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process opportunities.
  • Keep precise production records; handle other assigned duties as needed.

What you bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of forklift experience.
  • RF scanner familiarity is a plus.
  • OSHA forklift certification or operating experience preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving approach and work ethic.
  • Flexible in taking direction from multiple supervisors.
  • Organized, able to prioritize effectively.
  • Performs under pressure in a high-velocity environment.
  • Follows high-repetition work instructions consistently.
  • Willing to cross-train and cover different jobs.
  • Open to overtime when needed.

Language and communication

  • English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency is required.
  • Spanish preferred (required in some markets).

Physical requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking; regular talking and hearing.
  • Occasional sitting; manual dexterity; reaching; stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
  • Visual acuity for close and distance work, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus shifts.
