Your impact

  • Lead a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical, and automation technicians dedicated to uptime and safety.
  • Design and deploy preventive and predictive maintenance programs to drive reliability and reduce unexpected outages.
  • Own troubleshooting and repairs on injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Collaborate tightly with Production, Quality, and Engineering to align maintenance with production objectives.
  • Administer spare parts inventory, control the maintenance budget, and manage vendors for services and supplies.
  • Assure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other applicable health and safety requirements.
  • Advance continuous improvement around equipment performance, energy optimization, and plant safety.
  • Coach, develop, and appraise maintenance personnel for skill growth and performance.
  • Use CMMS to schedule work, log maintenance history, and track KPIs.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to eliminate chronic failures.
  • Ensure all compliance with regulatory affairs, FDA, OSHA, SQF mechanical integrity, and process hazards analysis (PHA).
  • Foster a culture rooted in safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

What you bring to the team

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical discipline) preferred.
  • 5–7 years in manufacturing maintenance with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of injection/blow molding systems, pneumatics, PLCs, hydraulics, and industrial electrical.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning methodologies.
  • Experience with lean/CI tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • History of managing maintenance budgets and capital improvement initiatives.
