Manufacturing Equipment Operator & Technician

What this role is about

Based in St. Louis, MO, you will be the hands-on expert ensuring our production machinery runs safely, smoothly, and to exacting quality standards. You will keep a close eye on machine performance, make timely adjustments, and help drive consistent output using modern manufacturing technology in a fast-paced environment.

A day in the role

You begin by reviewing the production schedule and preparing your equipment for the shift. Throughout the day, you operate and closely monitor machinery to maintain optimal performance and safety. You document output and key performance details, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, and perform routine maintenance as needed. You work side by side with teammates to hit production goals and deadlines, carefully follow quality procedures, and uphold all company policies and safety protocols. As the go-to partner for new team members, you also lend a hand in training and supporting new operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
• Experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Solid understanding of machinery and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed
