Crane Operator

We are looking for an experiencedCrane Operatorto join our team! If you have a strong safety mindset and hands-on experience in a steel environment, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate Crane: Run a 30-ton overhead crane using a radio remote control.
• Move Material: Transport, stack and stage heavy steel/aluminum bundles of sheet and coils.
• Inspect Equipment: Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on cranes, hooks, sheet lifters.
• Maintain Safety: Follow all OSHA regulations and plant safety protocols without exception.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of operating high-capacity overhead cranes in the steel environment.
• Skillset: Proven expertise handling specialized steel lifting attachments.
• Fitness: Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods.
• Mechanics: Basic knowledge of crane mechanics and trouble shooting.

1st and 2nd shift (Saturday's as needed)
