We’re hiring a maintenance specialist for our Grand Prairie, TX facility on third shift. If you love solving complex equipment problems and keeping production assets at peak performance, this is your lane.
Role snapshot
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems (mechanical and electrical).
- Root-cause troubleshooting and diagnostics on CNCs, press brakes, sawing equipment, lifting devices, and automated material handling systems.
- Performance improvement: identify and recommend upgrades that improve efficiency, capability, and yield.
- Failure analysis and reporting: document findings and actions in clear technical reports.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain electrical equipment to regulatory code requirements.
- Program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); troubleshoot PLCs.
- Test and verify electrical systems and circuit continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Calculate, lay out, and draft as needed; balance and align equipment.
- Perform rigging activities and other safety-related maintenance tasks.
- Fabricate or modify parts from cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel plate, structural members, other metals, plastics, fittings, valves, and various mechanical components.
Qualifications pathways
- General troubleshooting know-how with the ability to assist on advanced processing equipment across CNC, material handling, press brakes, lifting devices, and saws.
- Maintenance experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems shown by one of the following:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or
- Completion of an electrical or mechanical repair training program, or
- An acceptable combination of training and experience.
