Warehouse Associate

THE ROLE

The Position: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, material handling, ERP processing, light manufacturing activities, and inventory management. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, efficient product flow, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

This is an on-site role for a Warehouse Associate based in Leetsdale, PA. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, material handling, light manufacturing activities, and inventory management. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Shipping & Receiving

    • Prepare/pick, package, and ship customer orders according to company standards.

    • Receive inbound shipments, verify accuracy of items and quantities, and process documentation within the ERP system to show proper receipt.

    • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment. Ensuring minimum product damage or shifting of the load in transit.

    • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and transactions within the ERP (Odoo) software. Uploading all shipping paperwork for each load that allows proper tracking of outbound shipments. Take and store photo evidence of all outbound shipments.

    • Interact with shipping brokers/shipping coordinators to schedule pick-up of customer shipments for delivery by the requested date.

  • Material Handling

    • Transport materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.

    • Safely operate material-handling equipment and follow all safety guidelines.

    • Prepare and repair packaging where needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Install EG logo’s on each skirt produced prior to shipping.

  • Light Manufacturing

    • Perform basic assembly or light manufacturing tasks as required.

    • Operate hand tools and some powered equipment to support production processes.

    • Follow work instructions, quality checks, and proper documentation procedures.

    • Convert or trim components as needed for shipping the size needed by EG customers.

    • Assemble some components to offer requested assemblies for ease in installation by customers at OEM locations.

  • Inventory Management

    • Using the ERP software, conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.

    • Maintain accurate stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.

    • Properly label, store, and organize products to ensure efficient retrieval.

  • General Warehouse Operations

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.

    • Follow all company policies, safety rules, and quality standards.

    • Assist with and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Support internal teams with order fulfillment and logistics needs

  • Other duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

    • Current OSHA Certified for forklift operations within the last 3 years (documentation required).
  • Skills: Computer skills and proficiency (e.g., inventory systems, shipping software).

    • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently and follow processes

  • Travel: None
