Sun’s up and you’re on the move. You pull on your safety boots, snap in your harness, and hop on a forklift to bring order to a bustling warehouse filled with tires, under-car parts, and lubricants headed to independent retailers and dealerships. Your scanner chirps as you pick, place, and stage orders with precision. A team member signals for a two-person lift on a commercial tire—teamwork makes it smooth. Later, you navigate pick modules up to 25 feet high, then help inventory reconcile a count before circling back to load outbound routes. Every move is safe, efficient, and essential to keeping the aftermarket running.
Overtime may be required based on business needs; schedules can shift as volume changes.
To operate equipment safely, you must be qualified in visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability, with or without reasonable accommodation. Expect frequent lifting of approximately 50 lbs and occasional lifts up to 80 lbs; pushing forces up to 40 lbs when working with barrels/industrial or agricultural tires; and team lifts or mechanical assists for commercial tires. Required PPE includes steel/composite toe boots (bring your own), safety vest, harness, seatbelt, and SRL; U.S. AutoForce provides all equipment except boots. You may encounter weather exposure while working near dock areas; noise levels are typically moderate, and you’ll occasionally experience fumes associated with tires, auto parts, and lubricants.
