**Job Overview: **Looking for multi-faceted hard worker with general knowledge in upkeep of facilities systems varying from plumbing, electrical, to light mechanical work. Looking for someone who is flexible and willing to take on different tasks day to day. This position will assist mechanics on various tasks as needed as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various activities in plant in regards to facilities safely and efficiently.
- Light electrical work (i.e. residential voltage outlets, light fixtures, bulb and ballast change, reset breakers).
- Light plumbing work (i.e. toilet valves, faucet repairs, drain cleans, filter changes).
- Lubricate or apply other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine filters and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Painting, light drywall work.
- Install TV’s, displays, office furniture.
- Position will require use of scissor lift and forklift infrequently. We will train.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Candidate should have basic working knowledge in plumbing, painting, lighting.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Should have own tools; company will provide additional specialty tools if necessary.
- Proficient with Computers is a plus
- Good communication skills are required to communicate with supervision and other departments.
