Chiller Plant Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chiller Plant Technician with 8 years of experience overhauling chillers to join our team in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our chiller systems to ensure efficient operation and reliability. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on chiller systems and associated equipment.
• Monitor system performance and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with chillers, cooling towers, and related components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the facility’s HVAC systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks.
• Assist in the installation of new chiller systems and upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
• Proven experience as a Chiller Plant Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly chiller operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
