One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep production equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently at their Grand Rapids, MI facility.
**Pay Rate: **$25/hr - $30/hr
**Shift: **Days/Afternoon/Nights
Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently to minimize production interruptions
Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, and automated machinery
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment problems before failures occur
Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately using CMMS
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial production equipment
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
Knowledge of VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial automation
