CNC Programmer/Process Engineer

Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an aerospace manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes based on customer drawings and specifications.
- Program and adjust CNC machines daily, supporting multiple setups and production changes.
- Improve existing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with operators and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
- Support tooling, fixturing, and machining methods for new and existing parts.
- Apply continuous improvement practices to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
Requirements
- 8+ years of manufacturing or machining experience (degree not required).
- Strong CNC programming experience using Mastercam and G & M Code (required); Mazatrol preferred.
- Experience machining with mills, lathes, and multi-spindle machines (Index or similar preferred).
- CAD experience, ideally with SolidWorks for tooling and fixture design.
- Aerospace experience strongly preferred; open to candidates with small-part, low-volume production experience.
- Strong understanding of tooling, cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
- Ability to use inspection equipment and perform quality checks.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and continuous improvement mindset.
