Summary
The Business Analyst III plays a key role in supporting client projects by analyzing and documenting business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating on solution development. This role involves working closely with team members and clients to gather requirements, define needs, and develop technical documentation that aligns with the client’s mission and business objectives. The Business Analyst III is responsible for creating high-quality deliverables, including Standard Operating Procedures, training materials, and functional specifications. With minimal supervision, this mid-senior level role requires excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail to ensure deliverables meet client standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Workshops and Requirement Gathering:
- Actively participate in project workshops, capturing notes and key insights to support the development of client deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand and document business needs, translating them into functional and technical requirements.

Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Conduct analysis on business and system processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency.
- Support team in defining, documenting, and refining business processes to meet operational and strategic goals.

Documentation and Quality Assurance:
- Develop comprehensive business documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, training materials, and system testing documents.
- Ensure all written materials are accurate, detailed, and adhere to client quality standards, including technical documentation such as business needs statements and technical specifications.

Stakeholder Communication and Updates:
- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, requirements, and potential issues.
- Maintain a high standard of documentation for technical and functional requirements, creating clear and accessible materials for client use.

Training and Operational Support:
- Develop and deliver training materials to support the client in operationalizing new processes and system improvements.
- Ensure client teams have access to resources, work instructions, and documentation necessary to support operational changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, project documentation, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to define and document complex business processes and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience creating client-facing documentation and providing stakeholder updates.
Location Requirement:
The ideal candidate should reside in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. While this position is primarily remote, there may be occasional requirements to report in person as needed for team meetings or project-related tasks.
