Scope: CNC machinist is comfortable programming, producing and checking parts using CAM software and CNC machines 3 or 5 axis.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks, coordinate maintenance, and troubleshooting machinery to minimize downtime.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain production logs, track performance metrics, and report issues to supervisors or management.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate with others such as supply chain, quality assurance, and management to optimize workflow and production efficiency.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, provide training to team members, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Programming and Operation: Create, edit, and run programs that control cutting and shaping tools on CNC machines.

  • Machine Setup: Install and align cutting tools, adjust machine parameters, and ensure proper lubrication and cooling.

  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, identify defects, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues.

Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen

Work Experience: 5-10 years

Education & Training: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with additional technical training or apprenticeship in CNC machining.

  • Programming CNC machines according to project specifications.

  • Supervising and training junior operators on best practices and safety protocols

  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet required standards

  • Troubleshooting issues with CNC machines and ensuring timely maintenance

  • Collaborating with engineersand designers to develop process improvements

Normal vision and hearing and the ability to communicate effectively to others in person or via written communication (in English) is needed. Basic business math skills are required. This position will usually be worked in the warehouse which may occasionally have various odors and noise emanating from the warehouse. Required Skills & Qualification:
