Summary
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to senior executives, handling a range of clerical and administrative tasks to maximize the executive’s focus on strategic initiatives. This role involves managing confidential and time-sensitive materials, preparing professional correspondence, and addressing complex situations with discretion and sound judgment. The Executive Assistant is expected to bring a high degree of creativity, organization, and initiative, often leading or directing the work of other administrative staff. This role requires a blend of professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to handle diverse challenges effectively and support executive productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative and Clerical Support:
- Relieve the executive of administrative duties, allowing for a greater focus on strategic responsibilities.
- Handle a variety of situations and resolve administrative issues to ensure smooth office operations.

Confidential Document Management:
- Manage confidential and sensitive materials with the utmost discretion and attention to privacy.
- Organize and maintain accurate records, reports, and files necessary for executive and office functions.

Correspondence and Communication:
- Prepare routine and advanced correspondence, including letters, memoranda, reports, and presentations.
- Serve as a communication liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and clear communication.

Scheduling and Meeting Coordination:
- Manage the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel to maximize productivity.
- Coordinate and organize executive meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.

Leadership and Project Support:
- Assist with project management tasks as needed, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- May lead or direct the work of other administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience providing administrative support to executives or senior management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Location Requirement:
The ideal candidate should reside in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. While this position is primarily remote, there may be occasional requirements to report in person as needed for team meetings or project-related tasks.
