CMM Machine Operator

They are seeking a CMM Operator to join their 2nd shift quality team. This role will be responsible for inspecting precision machined components using advanced CMM equipment while ensuring products meet strict customer and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CMM equipment to inspect precision machined metal components
• Run and modify inspection programs using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns
• Support production and engineering teams with quality investigations
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
• Maintain calibration standards and inspection equipment
• Ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CMM experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Blueprint reading experience
• Experience inspecting precision machined metal components
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Experience:

• Zeiss CMM experience
• Mitutoyo CMM experience
• Tight tolerance machining environments
• Aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or precision machining industries
• CMM programming experience
