Endodontist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join our thriving specialty dental practice. In this role, you will perform specialized endodontic procedures, including root canal therapies, endodontic retreatments, and microsurgeries. You will work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to provide high-quality, patient-centric care while collaborating closely with our established network of referring general dentists.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Diagnose and treat complex diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
- Specialized Procedures: Perform routine and complex root canal therapies, apical microsurgeries (apicoectomies), and endodontic retreatments.
- Patient Consultations: Interpret digital radiographs, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, and perform clinical tests to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Emergency Interventions: Manage acute dental trauma and provide emergency pain relief and infection control.
- Network Collaboration: Maintain detailed clinical documentation and communicate treatment outcomes effectively with referring general practitioners.
- Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental program.
- Specialization: Successful completion of an advanced specialty education program in Endodontics accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Licensure: Valid and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
- Certifications: Board certification or eligibility for the American Board of Endodontics (ABE). Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency with advanced endodontic technology, including surgical operating microscopes and rotary instrumentation.
- Base Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 base salary plus percentage of collections
