Day in the life
Join our Blaine, MN team and turn raw stock into precise parts on CNC lathes and mills. Your day starts by reviewing prints, validating tools and offsets, and executing first-run setups independently. You’ll run production with confidence on Fanuc and/or Yasnac-controlled lathes, confirm quality, tweak G-code as needed, and keep machines cutting efficiently throughout the shift. Expect variety: from 2–4 axis turning to occasional Swiss work and time on a 5+ axis VMC.
What you’ll work on
- Own first-run setups and transition to steady production.
- Operate CNC lathes (2–4 axis), a CNC Swiss lathe, and a 5+ axis VMC.
- Optimize cycles, adjust tooling, and verify dimensions.
- Read/edit G-code and maintain reliable machine performance.
What you bring
- Proficiency in English and a dependable commute to Blaine, MN.
- Stable employment history and the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
- 5+ years of turning experience with hands-on, independent first-run setups.
- Background running Fanuc and/or Yasnac-controlled lathes.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Makino, Haas, and Nakamura equipment.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
