CDL A Flatbed Transport Specialist — Concrete Pipe
$26/hour + OT and bonuses (annualized around $95,000). Home daily. Rain or Shine.
A day in the life
You start your shift with a thorough pre-trip inspection, confirm your load of reinforced concrete pipe is secured, review delivery instructions with dispatch, and head out on a local route. Operating a tractor–trailer flatbed with a gross vehicle weight rating of at least 80,000 pounds, you navigate to jobsites, position for safe loading or unloading, verify orders against paperwork, and keep meticulous logs of hours, miles, and receipts. Before returning to Rialto, you update dispatch, report any mechanical issues to our mechanics, and close out your documentation. Then you head home — every day.

Core responsibilities
- Deliver reinforced concrete pipe to construction and utility jobsites on local routes.
- Verify shipments match orders and confirm delivery instructions.
- Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections; identify safety or mechanical concerns and report them to in-house mechanics.
- Document hours of service, rest periods, mileage; retain and submit fuel and toll receipts.
- Follow all road, size/weight, route designation, parking, and break regulations, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Precisely maneuver the tractor–trailer into loading and unloading positions.
- Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Clean driving record with no moving violations.
- 2–5 years of flatbed experience preferred.
- Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday flexibility.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings and physicals noted below.
Compensation, schedule, and location
- Pay: $26/hour plus overtime and bonuses; typical annual earnings approximate $95,000.
- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays as needed. Local routes — home daily.
- Not a warehouse role — you’ll transport precast concrete pipe.
