We’re hiring a Roll-to-Roll Production Operator in Avon, CT. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping high-speed equipment running at peak performance, this role is for you.

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly: $22–$27
• Training: 1–3 months on 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM)

Current Shift Openings

• 2nd Shift: Base up to $24 + $2 shift differential
• 3rd Shift: Base up to $24 + $3 shift differential
• Rotating 12-Hour (1st or 3rd): 6:00 AM–6:00 PM / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Your Impact

• Prepare, start up, and run production equipment; watch performance in real time.
• Switch over jobs efficiently; adjust tensions, speeds, and settings to meet spec.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, finish, and overall quality.
• Tackle minor mechanical issues and production hiccups as they arise.
• Stage materials; load inputs and remove completed product safely.
• Use hand tools and measurement devices for checks and adjustments.
• Handle routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety protocols.
• Document output and quality data with accuracy.
• Keep your area clean, organized, and compliant.
• Notify maintenance/supervisors of equipment or quality concerns.

What You’ll Need

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical sense and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Comfort with industrial equipment, hand tools, and gauges.
• Ability to read work orders and production specs.
• Competent with basic math and measurements.
• Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset.
• Able to stand for long periods; perform repetitive, physical tasks.
• Capable of lifting/moving materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to your assigned schedule.

Preferred Background

Experience with film, plastics, printing, slitting, laminating, coating, embossing, or other roll-to-roll/converting equipment is a plus. Mechanical or technical training preferred.

Paid, hands-on training on first shift precedes transition to your assigned schedule.
