Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, Plant Operations — Downingtown, PA

Your mission
Safely maximize uptime by diagnosing, repairing, and improving electromechanical and control systems—while mentoring others and reinforcing safety-first habits.
What you’ll do
- Own safe equipment startup/shutdown using company procedures aligned with OSHA standards.
- Apply NEC knowledge and electrical theory to analyze issues and plan fixes.
- Pinpoint faults with meters and test gear across wiring, switches, motors, and related systems.
- Service electronic devices—inspect, test, and replace components, circuits, and printed circuit boards.
- Measure, cut, thread, pull, and install conduit; install conduits, transformers, pull boxes, and switches.
- Repair starters, motors, and varied electrical apparatus.
- Fabricate custom parts with hand and machine tools when off-the-shelf solutions don’t exist.
- Make running adjustments; execute repairs and full overhauls based on your assessment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical controls, MCCs, and PLCs.
- Design control circuits; install wiring and electrical equipment to spec.
- Identify material/equipment needs; read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Production Supervisors/Managers to prioritize work.
- Coach peers and machine operators to elevate skills and safe practices.
- Maintain demonstrated proficiency and accurate documentation.
- Respond to plant emergencies and maintain certifications/training as required.
- Model leadership in all safety programs.

- Downingtown, PA
- Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
What you’ll bring
- 5 years of journey-level industrial maintenance experience (installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment).
- Ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English.
- Blueprint/schematic literacy with a knack for finding and fixing root causes of failures.
- Knowledge of low- and high-voltage systems and core wiring principles.
- Precision alignment experience.
- Hands-on background with production/support tools and equipment: arc welders, oxy-acetylene torches, saws, drills, grinders, pumps, engines.
- Ability to satisfactorily meet testing/training requirements.
