A day in your life at Ellison
You start your morning in Dallas–Fort Worth reviewing your first service call on a high-precision CNC lathe. By mid-day, you’re diagnosing a spindle alarm and bringing a VMC back online. In the afternoon, you’re assisting with the final steps of a new machine install, walking operators through best practices. You wrap up your notes on a lightweight laptop, fueled by a company gas card, and head home — minimal overnights, no weekends.
What youll do
- Own day-to-day field service across customer sites — from troubleshooting and repair to installations and preventive maintenance.
- Resolve customer issues with confidence; provide occasional operator training and sales-support insights.
- Communicate clearly with shop leads, production managers, and operators to keep work moving.
- Represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
- Document service cases thoroughly and maintain complete technical records.
- Pitch in on related tasks as needed to keep customers up and running.
