Imagine stepping onto the production floor in Shoreview, MN, where your leadership keeps electrical assemblies moving, your rigor ensures Level 2 procedures are followed, and your coaching elevates every technician on the team. As the Electrical Fabrication & FAT Supervisor, you will report to the Manufacturing Manager and operate 100% onsite—owning the people, process, and testing outcomes that keep us on schedule and safe under Westinghouse standards.

Your mission

Champion a culture of safety, quality, and readiness across electrical assembly and Factory Acceptance Testing while keeping schedules accurate, training current, and work orders flawless.

How you’ll deliver

  • Lead electrical personnel day-to-day and ensure adherence to Westinghouse safety standards and processes.
  • Determine training and qualification needs for each process/job/task; assign in PowerHub and verify everyone remains current.
  • Ensure training qualifications are completed on time and are properly maintained.
  • Provide thorough onboarding with mentors assigned to all new hires.
  • Serve as resource manager for electrical assembly personnel and support physical work when qualified.
  • Keep the P6 schedule updated on electrical assembly activities; support rescheduling when delays occur.
  • Create work orders for electrical work upon release of new jobs and ahead of shop need; review and approve before shop handoff; incorporate ECO changes.
  • Estimate hours required to build electrical assemblies in-house.
  • Assign resources for maintenance (PM) tied to electrical equipment.
  • Support QC with any final structure as-builts.
  • Ensure Manufacturing electrical procedures observe Level 2 procedures and current site practices.
  • Conduct PFP meetings throughout the year and make merit decisions; address personnel performance issues; approve weekly time and vacation requests.

Lead Factory Acceptance Testing

  • Review and approve engineering test procedures.
  • Confirm the proper equipment is available and ready for project testing.
  • Oversee FAT technicians and provide support throughout the test plan.

Location and reporting

Onsite in Shoreview, MN. Reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing facility.
