Expansion Lead (Enterprise)

About the Role

A well-funded B2B SaaS company in the AI-powered procurement intelligence space is looking for an Expansion Lead to own the enterprise growth motion into Europe's largest industrial groups. This is a high-impact, builder-oriented role operating at the intersection of strategy, sales, and cross-functional execution — ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to build a repeatable playbook from first principles.

What You'll Do

  • Own the enterprise expansion vector end-to-end and define how the company wins inside major industrial groups.
  • Set account strategy, design the path to revenue, and build and manage your own pipeline from first conversation to contract close.
  • Lead executive workshops, PoC scoping, commercial negotiations, and contract close with C-level stakeholders (CPO, CFO, Management Board).
  • Codify wins into a scalable playbook covering pricing, messaging, deal structure, stakeholder engagement, and pilot design.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Procurement Advisory teams.
  • Scale the motion by hiring and building a growth team once the approach is proven.

What We're Looking For

Dealbreakers:

  • 5+ years of experience in high-performance environments — Tier 1 management consulting (Project Lead / Engagement Manager level or above), a VC-backed startup, or as a founder; industrial/manufacturing exposure strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record owning end-to-end enterprise expansion deals in industrial or manufacturing sectors, including pipeline building, sales cycle management, exec workshops, PoC scoping, pricing, and contract close.
  • Native German and fluent English proficiency.

Required:

  • Sharp strategic thinking — able to frame ambiguous opportunities and translate them into concrete, executable plans.
  • Demonstrated credibility engaging C-level stakeholders (CPO, CFO, Management Board) in complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle industrial organizations.
  • Builder mentality with high agency — comfortable both designing the playbook and executing it yourself or with a small team.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to operationalize enterprise motions end-to-end.

Nice to Have:

  • Deep knowledge of the DACH region, particularly the industrial Mittelstand landscape.
  • Background in or familiarity with procurement, supplier intelligence, spend/cost optimization, or related domains.
