Senior Software Integration Engineer

Help teams spend more time delivering work and less time working around their tools. As a Senior Software Integration Engineer at Caddis Solutions, you’ll connect and improve the Atlassian applications teams rely on every day. Your focus will be Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo—building tools and integrations that make these platforms work together reliably.

What you’ll work on

• Connect the tools teams depend on. Design, develop, and maintain integrations across the Atlassian suite to improve productivity and support day-to-day work.
• Make the platforms fit their users. Configure and customize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo to meet specific user needs.
• Put Linux and scripting to work. Use the command-line interface and write automation in Bash, Python, or Groovy to streamline operations.
• Find the cause of integration problems. Troubleshoot failures and performance bottlenecks, then test integrations thoroughly for functionality and reliability under different conditions.
• Build around real requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into practical tools and integrations.

What you’ll bring

You’ll need a strong foundation in Linux system administration, confidence working at the command line, and the ability to develop automation scripts. This role also calls for hands-on configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and testing across the Atlassian products above.

Experience sustaining mission applications in a Unix environment is a plus. An interest in working directly with external customers and helping them learn technical tools would also serve you well.

Experience and education

This role requires at least 8 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a qualifying master’s degree, or 13 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
