About the Role
We're looking for a precise and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You'll work with steel, aluminum, and Invar 36 materials, producing clean, spec-compliant welds on components where accuracy and quality are non-negotiable.
What You'll Do
- Set up and configure TIG welding equipment to job specifications
- Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and technical drawings
- TIG weld steel, aluminum, and Invar 36 components to print
- Repair and rework damaged or non-conforming parts
- Fabricate and modify fixtures, jigs, gauges, and specialty tooling
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for all equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Welding certificate from an accredited college or technical school
- Hands-on experience with steel, aluminum, and/or Invar 36
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and use precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements (US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.)
Preferred
- Forklift and/or crane certification
- Comfortable working overtime and varied shifts when production demands it
- Self-starter who takes initiative and looks for process improvement opportunities
- Able to partner with management to drive location performance
