A Day in the Life
You start with a quick huddle for up to 10 office team members—aligning priorities for customer inquiries, shipping paperwork, and inbound/outbound schedules. Mid-morning, you’re syncing with warehouse operations to coordinate receiving, reviewing ISO and billing packets, and double-checking inventory documentation. By afternoon, you’re coaching CSRs on performance metrics, closing the loop on any customer concerns with corrective actions, and confirming safety, quality, and company procedures are being followed. You wrap up by communicating updates to customers, carriers, and vendors so the next shift is set up for success.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise, coach, and support the office team (up to 10 employees)
- Guide customer service operations and CSR performance standards
- Coordinate shipping and receiving alongside warehouse operations
- Keep inventory records and documentation accurate and current
- Reinforce safety, quality, and company procedures across the office
- Review ISO documentation and billing paperwork for accuracy
- Resolve customer issues and drive corrective actions
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
- Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and vendors
What You Bring
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- SAP experience preferred
- Typing speed of 45 WPM
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Customer service and supervisory experience preferred
- Solid basic math and computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, and use hands for office tasks
- Adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties
Preferred Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent; or 1–2 years of related experience
- Advanced computer skills
