What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, service, and repair transport refrigeration (reefer) units, including refrigeration, electrical, and engine components.
• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm machinery.
• Handle, recover, and charge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing detailed service recommendations and updates.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery.
• Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes.

What You Bring:

• Active EPA 608 certification -** Required**

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, or electrical systems including hands-on experience working on Reefer Units - Required.- Experience with repairs on** TheromoKing or Carrierunits - a Plus to Have!**

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role) - Required.

• Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.

• Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job.

• Capability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to pass background checks.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Repair experience on Thermo King or Carrier Transicold reefer units.
• ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (e.g., Freightliner, Detroit, Cummins).
• Experience with field service or mobile repair.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience or project leadership on job sites.
