Commercial Coffee Equipment Installation & Repair Technician

With Farmer Brothers’ Revive™ Service & Restoration, you’ll install, service, and restore coffee and tea equipment for a dedicated customer base. If you enjoy ownership of your route, solving complex equipment issues, and documenting your work with precision, this role is for you.

Role overview

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • On-call: Rotation required, including weekends
  • Territory: Approximately 100-mile driving radius; regional travel as needed

Core responsibilities

  • Install, remove, and commission commercial coffee and beverage dispensing systems.
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled work: preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, field surveys, and new installations.
  • Participate in after-hours/weekend on-call rotation.
  • Manage spare parts levels and reorder within replenishment guidelines.
  • Close calls accurately: record work performed, parts used, time on site; finalize invoices; obtain customer signatures.
  • Assist with planning/scheduling large or multi-site deployments.
  • Share customer feedback to help refine programs and service levels.
  • Meet stated service level agreements while balancing multiple priorities.

Must-have background

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years in a mechanical/technical role
  • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
  • Ability to travel within a 100+ mile radius
  • Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs on a frequent basis
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have experience

  • Foodservice industry exposure
  • Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or test meter experience
