You complete a quick pre-trip on your automatic Freightliner sleeper, back under a 48' or 53' flatbed, and head out on a dedicated route serving loyal Dexter customers across the Northeast. What your week looks like
- Dedicated regional runs serving Dexter customers in NH, MA, CT, and ME.
- Miles & home time: ~1,800–2,000 miles/week, home most nights; one overnight per week; every weekend home.
- Equipment: Automatic Freightliner sleeper with 48' or 53' flatbed.
- Load securement: No tarping, minimal strapping.
- Compensation: Pay blend includes mileage, drop, and hourly components.
What you’ll do
- Deliver trailer and trailer components safely and on time to Dexter customers.
- Record the amount and type of cargo delivered and keep accurate logs of activities.
- Monitor road and weather conditions; watch for congestion and hazards.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and accident procedures if incidents occur; report any road incidents to dispatch promptly.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections; document defects and report serious mechanical issues immediately.
- Take required rest breaks and drive with heightened caution as conditions demand.
Sign-on details
$10,000 sign-on bonus paid to qualified drivers in three installments.
Qualifications
- 21+ years old with a valid Class A CDL.
- At least 1 year of experience, including manual transmission experience.
- Flatbed experience preferred.
- Proven commercial driving background with a clean MVR (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years).
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
