What will I be doing day-to-day?
Operating and overseeing a robotic weld cell with Fanuc industrial robots
Touching up weld points and performing finish welding/post-weld touchups
Troubleshooting faults and error codes to keep production moving
Carrying out basic robot maintenance
Reviewing blueprints and weld symbols to confirm weld requirements
Flagging any potential quality or compliance deviations (including revisions and weld symbols)
Completing all quality documentation as specified by work instructions
Ensuring all welded assemblies meet standard work requirements
Safely performing basic crane lifts
Using hand and air tools like die grinders, angle grinders, and drills
Tacking parts together before robotic welding when needed
What should I already know?
Experience or familiarity with Fanuc robots
Industrial robot programming and CNC programming
Welding setups geared for production
Maintenance and repair fundamentals and troubleshooting CNC machines
Blueprint reading with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and team collaboration
