Summary
This position will oversee see all aspects of accounting, financial accounting, cost management and forecasting & budgeting, and financial reporting and analysis.
The Senior Accountant must possess a solid knowledge of accounting and IFRS reporting. The candidate must display integrity and have a desire for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Planning and Budgeting: Manage, prepare, and execute planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles, transactions and processes.
- Cost Management and Effectiveness: Review, assess, update, and maintain effective costing standards, necessary controls, related reporting and analysis. In addition to that, health insurance records; and
- Financial Accounting and General Ledger: Manage, prepare, and execute financial closing and reporting processes, data analysis, and preparation of private and general-purpose reports periodic and ad-hoc reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or, related field
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Experience with financial and IFRS reporting
- Experience with IPSAS is a plus
- Experience in healthcare and government sectors
- Experience in using oracle ERP
- Fluent in both Arabic and English languages
