Picture your day: doors open, you welcome the first walk-in with a confident smile, field a quick phone question, then reply to a customer email—each interaction clear, friendly, and informed. You keep the showroom looking sharp, the stockroom organized, and the sales activity humming. By afternoon, you’ve demonstrated a new product, entered a few accurate orders (with credit details verified), and wrapped up the day’s transactions for deposit.

Hourly pay range: $20.00–$22.00

What you’ll handle

  • Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers; deliver knowledgeable guidance in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Uphold a polished, welcoming showroom atmosphere that reflects a professional brand experience.
  • Explain product features and benefits; support showroom sales initiatives and demonstrations.
  • Demonstrate new products and techniques for customers in the showroom.
  • Accurately process daily sales transactions and complete daily deposit procedures.
  • Enter customer orders with precision, including verification of credit information.
  • Replenish, organize, and track showroom and stockroom inventory.
  • Answer and return customer calls; assist with follow-up on past-due accounts.
  • Send reminders to customers for scheduled trainings or educational classes.
  • Coordinate setup, on-site support, and post-event cleanup for trainings and events.

What you’ll bring

  • Solid grasp of customer service principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued identification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Background in janitorial, restoration, remediation, carpet cleaning, installation services, or big-box retail preferred.
  • Cash-handling experience preferred.
  • Comfort with administrative/documentation processes and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
