Senior Account Executive | Mid-Market

About the Role

We are a Series A B2B SaaS company based in Berlin, building AI-powered omnichannel customer communication software for SMEs. We're looking for a Senior Account Executive – Mid-Market to join our on-site sales team in Berlin and own the build-out of a brand-new Mid-Market segment from the ground up.

This is a high-impact, full-cycle sales role where you will define the playbook, shape the segment strategy, and drive measurable revenue growth — working closely with Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success.

What You'll Do

  • Build the Mid-Market segment independently: define target customer profiles, deal structure, and prioritization.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle — from first qualification through presentation, negotiation, close, and handover to Customer Success.
  • Manage and prioritize your pipeline, maintaining clean and accurate data in HubSpot.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product, market, and competitive landscape to position strategically against alternatives.
  • Analyze sales data across key KPIs, identify insights, and improve processes, messaging, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success to build a scalable Mid-Market sales motion.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of B2B SaaS or tech sales experience, with demonstrated ability to run end-to-end mid-market deals.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM for pipeline management and data quality.
  • Experience building new sales segments, markets, or approaches — or a strong drive to do so independently.
  • Native-level German is required; English proficiency is a strong plus.
  • A consultative, structured, solution-oriented sales mindset — not a push-sales approach.
  • Self-starter mentality with proactive ownership of goals and enthusiasm for process-building.
  • Experience collaborating across Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, dynamic startup environment.

Nice to Have

  • Background in or exposure to SME-focused SaaS, messaging platforms, or customer engagement tools.
  • Experience at companies such as Intercom, Front, Trengo, Zenvia, respond.io, WATI, or similar B2B SaaS vendors.

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Berlin, Germany. Remote work is not available for this position. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered.
