Lead Reliability for a High-Output Concrete Operation

Picture your morning: you scan the day’s production schedule and BOMs, confirm product specs, quantities, and delivery dates, then set priorities for the maintenance and support teams that keep a concrete manufacturing line running smoothly. You coordinate people and plans, align maintenance windows with production goals, and ensure quality never slips.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will direct and coordinate maintenance and support functions that underpin material processing and product manufacturing. You’ll work hands-on when needed and through subordinate supervisors to keep operations on track.

  • Translate production orders and BOMs into actionable maintenance and support plans that meet product specifications and delivery commitments.
  • Establish priorities and sequences for maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
  • Build and manage operational schedules; coordinate closely with production to safeguard product quality and schedule adherence.
  • Analyze production and operating reports; troubleshoot operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to control costs and prevent delays.
  • Set performance targets and drive asset utilization to achieve specific operational outcomes.
  • Create and refine standard operating procedures and working practices; observe work and coach teams to ensure strict compliance.
  • Address employee concerns; resolve grievances when possible or escalate unresolved matters to the Production Superintendent.
  • Jump in as needed—apply working knowledge of carpentry, warehouse operations, metal fabrication, welding, and equipment operation.

What You Bring

  • Education: High school diploma; vocational or technical education preferred.
  • Experience: 5–7+ years of related industrial maintenance/manufacturing experience required.
  • Leadership: 3–5+ years in a similar supervisory capacity preferred.

Technical Mastery

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Pneumatics systems diagnosis
  • Powerhouse and boiler troubleshooting
  • Maintenance and repair across heavy industrial assets
  • Lift truck (forklift) repair and maintenance
  • CNC machine setup and changeover
  • Machine safety inspections and compliance

Work Environment & Travel

  • Expect daily exposure to outdoor weather and moving mechanical parts; occasional wet/humid conditions and vibration; loud noise levels are typical.
  • Travel: 2–3 trips per year.

If you’re energized by coordinating people, plans, and precision to keep a concrete manufacturing operation performing at its best, we’d like to meet you.
