Experienced Welder/Fabricator

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a seasoned welder/fabricator for an exciting new fabrication facility in Harrisburg. This is a custom fabrication shop that specializes in structural welding for large and small construction projects throughout the PNW.

What we are seeking:

• Have 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Advanced capability for reading and interpreting complex blueprints and schematics, including weld symbols.
• Precision fabrication abilities to successfully maintain tight tolerances by using measuring instruments, practicing all quality control measures as instructed then verify confomance to specifications.
• Ability to perform advanced welding techniques Weld Mig/flux 035 – 052 on mild steel, aluminum and stainless as needed.
• A High degree of skill for cutting, shaping and fitting materials using standard fabrication machinery and tools.
• AWS certifications are preferred for D1.1 with unlimited thickness and 4G/
• Previous use of overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials in and out of positions and the shop.
• Be able to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8- to 10-hour shift.
• Be able to lift to 50lbs.upon occasion
• Great attitude, attendance and work ethic.

JOB DETAILS:

• Evaluation to hire.
• Pay: $26/h to $30/h DOE and Weld test
• Shift: Days Monday - Friday
• Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM (except overtime)
