As our sole on-site EHS Specialist, you’ll spend your time engaging with team members at all levels to build a proactive safety culture while also managing the formal side of EHS—regulatory reporting, documentation, and coordination with corporate and external agencies.

This is a salaried, full-time position (Monday through Friday), with the flexibility to support both day and night shift teams as needed. You will be our only EHS Specialist on site.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
Manage documentation for audits, inspections, training, permits, and regulatory filings.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Coordinate environmental reporting (air, water, waste, Tier II, Form R, etc.).
Collaborate with plant leadership and corporate teams on safety initiatives and reporting.
Balance people-focused work with accuracy and attention to administrative detail.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field – required
CHMM, ASP/CSP, or CIH certification – preferred
2–6 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
Excellent communicator with ability to engage all levels of the organization
