Your impact
- Grind, deburr, and edge-finish precision sheet metal parts to remove burrs and sharp edges.
- Deliver consistent finishes that align with customer and industry standards.
- Perform visual and tactile checks to ensure smooth, defect-free surfaces.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and performance; follow rigorous safety practices with PPE.
- Handle and dispose of metal shavings and dust per environmental guidelines.
- Assist with material handling and organize parts within the finishing area.
- Support cross-training and jump in on other production tasks when needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 1+ year of grinding/deburring/metal finishing in manufacturing preferred.
- Background in precision sheet metal is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and independent work habits.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams.
Work conditions
- Standing for long periods; bending, reaching; lifting up to 50 lbs.; repetitive motions.
- Production environment with metal dust, noise, and temperature variation.
- Regular coordination with production, engineering, quality, and management.
- PPE (gloves, safety glasses, respirators) required.
Schedule, pay, and benefits
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
- Hours: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM, Monday – Friday
- Some flexibility may be required based on production needs
- Hourly Rate: $18 - $24 per hour
- Benefits include shared-cost health care, paid holidays, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match after a waiting period.
