Your impact
- Restore and maintain surgical instrumentation performance onsite at local hospitals—sharpening, adjusting, and repairing with precision.
- Use grinding and buffing wheels, soldering tools, and a full suite of hand/power tools from a truck-based mobile shop.
- Operate as a two-person team, delivering timely, onsite service that keeps OR schedules on track.
Role requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of relevant work experience.
- Fine motor skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
- Flexible availability for early/late hours with occasional overnight and out-of-state travel.
- Pass a DOT medical/physical exam and follow all DOT regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record (CDL not required) and ability to maintain required vaccines.
- Age 21+ to satisfy FMCSA requirements for commercial interstate driving.
Backgrounds that translate well
- Small engine, cell phone, or electronics repair; product testing; rebuilds.
- Carpentry; circuit board assembly/repair.
- Sterile processing; industrial sewing; jewelry repair.
- Maintenance, construction, or automotive repair.
- Assembly work or any role using small hand tools.
