If diagnosing root causes, stabilizing parameters, and perfecting end‑of‑arm tooling sounds like your sweet spot, Magna Engineered Glass is hiring experienced Process Technicians for second and third shift. Your challenge: help us accelerate cycle times and cut downtime from setups, changeovers, tooling, and processes—without compromising quality or safety.

Your impact

  • Own the startup and shutdown sequence for injection molding machines and ensure supporting systems (water, material delivery, heaters, robots) are production‑ready.
  • Pinpoint and correct process issues on both new launches and legacy parts to lift first‑pass yield.
  • Streamline die/mold changes and process setup to keep the line moving.
  • Jump in fast when operators and production leaders need assistance.
  • Capture every process change accurately for traceability and repeatability.
  • Author and update process standards and playbooks for new programs.
  • Tune EOAT setups, troubleshoot faults, and drive continuous refinement.
  • Manage hazardous waste in strict alignment with procedures.
  • Help execute cleaning routines and preventive maintenance.
  • Participate in cross‑functional problem solving and CI events.
  • Serve on the facility’s authorized spill response team.
  • Champion compliance with all health, safety, and environmental rules.

Career path and requirements

Level 1

  • 3–5 years of technical experience in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, update, and work on equipment/systems.
  • Effective English communication—written and verbal—and strong interpersonal skills.

Level 2

  • 1–2+ years at Level 1 or equivalent education/experience.
  • Injection molding proficiency; RJG systematic molding experience preferred.
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Operates independently and as part of a team with consistent professionalism.

Level 3

  • 3–5+ years at Level 2 or similar background.
  • ABB Level 1 Robot training capability.
  • Outstanding teamwork and professionalism.
  • Advanced problem‑solving and project leadership.
  • Works with minimal supervision; sets direction confidently.
  • Advanced molding knowledge; RJG Advanced Edart and Master Molder 1 preferred.
