Seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with carpenttry skillsto support renovation, repair, and light facility maintenance projects at our manufacturing site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to handle a variety of tasks ranging from basic carpentry and finishing work to general mechanical and light electrical duties. Perform carpentry and renovation tasks, including framing, drywall, finishing, and minor structural repairs.
Support facility upgrades and construction projects within the manufacturing plant.
Conduct light plumbing, painting, and fixture installation work as needed.
Perform minor electrical tasks such as wiring light fixtures or outlets (no high-voltage work required).
Operate basic power tools, saws, drills, and measuring instruments safely.
Inspect tools, materials, and completed work for accuracy and safety compliance.
Maintain work areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organization.
Collaborate with supervisors and facility staff to complete daily tasks and renovation goals.
Assist with occasional mechanical work or other hands-on duties as assigned.
3–5 years of facilities maintenance and carpentry experience required; construction or renovation background preferred.
Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude (no high-voltage experience required).
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Ability to read blueprints or simple building layouts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day.
Dependable with strong time management and communication skills.
Flexible and able to work overtime when required.
Competitive hourly pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
