What you’ll work on
- Trim, chassis, and final assembly tasks on a high-volume production line.
- Manual assembly with standard hand tools—fit, fasten, verify.
- Team problem-solving to contain and correct recurring defects.
- Consistent execution of safety, quality, efficiency, and cost targets.
Shifts and starting pay
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm — starting pay of $17.50/hr
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm–7:00am — starting pay of $17.00/hr
Career progression
Strong attendance, performance evaluations, and seniority can make you eligible to enter Kia’s direct hiring process. Once hired, pay starts at $20.52 with the opportunity to top out at $30.40.
