Senior Software Engineer

What does it take to turn an SI idea into a service people can count on? At Caddis Solutions, you’ll help answer that question by leading the development of scalable, production-ready applications in a high-performance computing environment. This Senior Software Engineer role brings together large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the practical engineering that makes them useful in day-to-day operations.

What you’ll build and improve

• Connect models with useful information. Design and deploy RAG systems that bring relevant information into large language model applications.
• Build a solid foundation. Develop reliable, scalable Python applications on Linux and work with PyTorch or TensorFlow to optimize model performance against operational needs.
• Take applications into production. Package services with Docker, run them in Kubernetes, and create Helm charts for consistent deployments.
• Keep improvements moving. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Flux CD to make releases repeatable.
• See how the system behaves. Use Prometheus and Grafana to monitor health, investigate performance issues, and guide the next improvement.

Strong Python and Linux skills, experience building with large language models and RAG, and familiarity with the container, delivery, monitoring, and machine learning tools above will support your work. This is a role for someone who enjoys both building SI applications and helping them perform reliably after launch.

Experience with AWS or GPU-enabled applications is a plus.

Experience and education

This role requires at least 7 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, 5 years with a qualifying master’s degree, or 9 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
