Your Mission

• Command daily operations across production scheduling, machining, quality, and shipping.
• Coach and grow CNC machinists and programmers into a high‑performing team.
• Guarantee conformance to ultra‑tight tolerances and stringent quality expectations.
• Advance continuous improvement—streamline flow, cut waste, and boost OEE.
• Own planning and workflow for multi‑axis mills and lathes.
• Champion safety, quality systems, and operational discipline.
• Collaborate with engineering/programming to optimize machining processes.
• Track and act on KPIs: productivity, utilization, and throughput.
• Manage hiring, training, and performance management.
• Support quoting accuracy, drive cost control, and improve plant profitability.

What You Bring

• 7+ years leading manufacturing teams, preferably in CNC machining.
• Expertise in multi‑axis CNC machining (mills and lathes).
• Experience delivering complex, tight‑tolerance components.
• Demonstrated success managing shop operations and production teams.
• Fluency in quality control, process improvement, and lean methodologies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organization.

Bonus Points

• Background as a CNC machinist, programmer, or manufacturing engineer.
• High‑mix/low‑volume or job shop experience.
• Exposure to ERP/MRP platforms.
