Commercial HVAC-R Service & Refrigeration Specialist

A day in this role

Picture your morning: you review the schedule, load up parts, and head to a client site within our service radius, 2 hours. By mid-morning you’re performing preventive maintenance on rooftop units; after lunch, you’re diagnosing a refrigeration issue in a busy commercial kitchen; before the day wraps, you’re documenting work performed and advising the client on next steps. Along the way, you collaborate with teammates, follow safety and environmental best practices, and deliver clear, friendly updates to customers.

What you’ll tackle

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems across commercial facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures with precision.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Communicate findings and options clearly to clients, delivering excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of services completed and parts utilized.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and quality.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in HVAC/R technology.
• Service radius, 2 hours.

What sets you up for success

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC/R preferred.
• 3-5 Year experience HVAC/R with commercial service/install experience.
• Proven experience as an HVAC/R technician in commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, components, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid "Real Id" drivers license and clean driving record (required).
• Clean MVR and Background for high clearance locations.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
