Precision Metals Production Operator

Location: North Canton, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st and 2nd Shift openings

Picture your day: you clock in on a busy production floor devoted to building precision metal components. You review the day’s work orders, pull the correct materials, and set up your station by following clear work instructions. You load stock, start up production equipment, and keep a close eye on the run—listening for changes, watching gauges, and making routine quality checks. In-process measurements with a tape measure and micrometer confirm that parts stay within spec, and you record each run’s data accurately. Between jobs, you move materials with a forklift or overhead crane (we’ll train you if you haven’t used them before), keep your area clean, and follow every safety rule. Throughout the shift, you’re comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and collaborating with teammates to hit production goals without compromising safety or quality.

What you’ll do

• Operate production machinery by following documented work instructions and procedures.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform in-process and final quality checks; verify dimensions with tape measures and micrometers.
• Accurately record production data and part counts.
• Move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed).
• Read work orders to gather the correct materials and tooling for each job.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as required.

What you’ll bring

• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Ability to use basic precision measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer).
• Comfort reading and following written work instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with forklifts or overhead cranes is a plus, not a must.
